Gullible.

On our long drive from Modesto to Portland, we decided to break the trip up and stop a few places along the way.

First stop was the Medford temple. We forgot to take pictures, so here's a link to the Church website page for that temple. It honestly looked like they just cornered off a section in the stake center parking lot and plopped down a Temple. So obviously it was beautiful.

Next we drove up I-5 about 20 miles and stopped in the cute town of Gold Hill to see the Oregon Vortex. It's this crazy place where balls roll uphill and you get shorter by walking across a level platform. Probably all a bunch of smoke and mirrors, BUT Dallas and I were entertained(granted, not that hard to do, but it's fine).

According to our tour guide(the scruffy man in the shorts) as we walked across the platform one of us would get shorter and the other would get taller. So he placed a board between our heads to highlight the height change. Notice the angle that the board has between me and Dallas's head.

Then he had us switch places. Doesn't the angle look steeper here? It looks like we changed heights. I was practically convinced(again, not that hard to do...oh well).

He balanced a broom. I was impressed.

This was the weirdest one. He had me stand in the center on the platform and then he stood next to me. He told me to close my eyes, then take my hand and put it on my own shoulder and then put it on his shoulder, and remember the distance it felt like I had to move my hand to get to his shoulder. Then he went to the other side and I did it again

This was my face afterwards. His shoulder felt so much higher! I'll admit, he could have just shrugged his shoulders up to make it seem higher, but look in the pictures! I don't think he looks like he's shrugging...

Over all, we had fun, and it was a good break from the monotony of driving 55 mph all the way up I-5. And they had this gem in the boys bathroom

Love it.
